Time // 9:42 p.m.
Place // At home on the couch.
Eating // Nothing.
Drinking // Hot chocolate.
Watching // Nothing! House Hunters was on in the background about 15 minutes and suddenly I realized that neither of us was watching it and it was just noise, noise, noise. I really want to get in the habit of turning the TV off when we’re not actually watching it. Sounds like it should be an easy thing, but habits are hard to break.
Reading // The Second Nine Months by Vicki Glembocki. I can’t remember where I saw it recommended, but I’m enjoying it well enough so far. There are so many books out there that paint rosy pictures of parenting, and I guess I’ve been craving the stories of real women, who write about it honestly — both the good and the bad.
Wanting // Emma to feel better. She’s been congested and got her 4-month shots today, so she wasn’t a happy camper tonight.
Thinking // About my to-do list. I’m in a training class all day tomorrow at work, which is a little unfortunate since I have a bunch of other things I need to get done before the end of the week.
Creating // This blog post. And wishing I could get back into blogging a little more often! In the meantime, I’ve started playing around with Instagram. I’m saroy over there if you’d like to follow me.
Hoping // For cooler weather. It really hasn’t felt like December so far, and I’m still in denial that Christmas is less than 3 weeks away.
Needing // Sleep.
Anticipating // A relaxing weekend.
p.s. I borrowed this little meme from Kathleen. I came across her blog a few years ago and have always liked this little list.
Mom says
Don’t know how to comment on Instagram, so will do it here. I love Emma’s first art project! Even you who has always loved art so much did not, I repeat, did not have an art project @ 4 months old!!! Yay for daycare!!
