So it’s August. Otherwise known as the month that I will have a baby. HOLY. CRAP.
A couple weeks ago, Jose and I met up with friend-of-a-friend Jen from Two Feet Four Feet Photography to do a short maternity photo session! She sent over the final files yesterday so I’m sharing a few of my favorites.
I am definitely not a model and generally feel pretty darn awkward — especially when I’m trying to do some oh-so-casual poses. But I’m really happy that we sucked it up and did these. The last time we had nice photos taken was our wedding!
It’s a shame that we only get all dolled up for fancy photos when there’s a major life event, right? I’ve since made a mental note to schedule a family photo session at least every year or so from now on!

Where’d you find a field of wildflowers? That’s my favorite (in small part because I like sunflowers, but also because of the color contrast).
In El Jardin down by the beach. Just keep going down that main road off Todville (past Matt & Steph’s house).

I’m with John. My favorite is the two of you walking down the beach. I think yearly photos is a great idea. Do them at the beginning of August and this can be the first entry!
