A week ago we got about 4 inches of rain over 3 days, and the plants have exploded as a result. Our satsuma tree is looking FAR more healthy than it did at this time last year, thanks to the mild winter. It suffered pretty badly in a couple of the freezes we had last winter, but not so this year. I think it got below freezing maybe one night? Maybe two?
The crape myrtle is going crazy too. Two weeks ago this was a mess of completely bare branches.
Yep, I think spring is officially here!
