I have a backlog of things to write about, but at the moment, my parents are in town! They got here on Saturday evening and we have been having a lot of fun ever since. We spent Sunday morning watching the end of the Tour de France, and then spent the afternoon at the Museum of Natural Science, where we checked out the Texas! exhibit and saw an IMAX about two groups who rescue orphaned baby elephants and orangutans.
(It was a 3D IMAX, hence the stylish glasses.)
Yesterday Mom and Dad tooled around Clear Lake while Jose and I were at work, then we cooked dinner and Mom told me that my plants need more water than I’ve been giving them. So she watered our lawn. She also unloads dishes and folds laundry. Today they are even taking our glass to the recycling center. Parents are awesome — and helpful!
