Life has been quiet since the mission ended, thankfully. I’ve spent a lot of time catching up on my sleep and, after working so many days in a row, I thoroughly enjoyed being a lazy bum over the weekend. The return to Daylight Saving Time only helped with the general feeling of laziness, since it turned 9:30 into 10:30 — which is when I finally got up yesterday morning! Since there is little else to report at the moment, here are two random photos from my phone:
While I was still working the mission, we dogsat Gizmo and Bandit for a night. They were extremely confused when I got up at 2 a.m. to go to work, but as usual they were excited when I got home. They are very clingy dogs. And cute.
That same day was Meryl’s baby shower, which I mentioned earlier. On the way home, we passed a couple on a motorcycle. The woman on the back was holding a teddy bear, which made me laugh a lot.
