I finally found the pictures taken months ago after one of the STS-133 crew’s rendezvous training sessions. The title isn’t really accurate since I’m not technically on the “Training Team” because I’m not their Rendezvous Instructor — but I observe and participate in their training sessions since I’m their Rendezvous Flight Controller and will be the one on console as the approach the ISS. I never got my picture taken with the STS-129 crew, so it’s cool to have a photo this time around.
Since they were originally supposed to launch in early November, everyone is anxious to finally get the mission underway after months of technical issues — and an unfortunate crew member swap. Sadly, Tim Kopra (on the far right) was replaced after breaking his hip in a bike accident back in January.
With any luck, these guys will get off the ground either next Thursday or Friday!
