My officemate’s white board is getting more and more elaborate. (His initials are N.O., in case you’re confused about how NO is hunting zombies.) Two zombies killed, three to go? And I have no idea who Grues is. It’s a mystery.
I’ve got big plans for the weekend, but they all involve my house. What does it mean when your weekend plans involve cleaning the bathroom, organizing the study, taking down all the Christmas decorations, cleaning out your closet, and watching the Roomba scoot around the floor? And you’re actually not that upset about doing all those things? It probably means I’m old.
I am loving my Kindle. The coolest part is that I can download the first chapter of pretty much any book in Kindle format so I can “try things out” just like you could at any physical book store. (I think you can do this through your browser too, but it’s cool to be able to do it on the Kindle.) I got a handful of actual books for Christmas so after I finish this month’s book club book I’ll have to put the Kindle down for a bit. Sad.
I have recently gotten very bored by my wardrobe. For a lot of people, losing 15 pounds would equate to a couple sizes, but for me it’s only 1 size. Still, while I can still wear pretty much everything I wore before — with the exception of one pair of pants that almost fell down to my knees the last time I wore them — a lot of my clothes don’t fit QUITE right anymore. The lost weight is certainly not a problem, but trying to get some new items without spending a small fortune is hard. On top of that, I feel more confident wearing things that I wouldn’t have worn before, so I’m attempting to “freshen up” my closet. I tend to go to the same places over and over. If you’ve got stores or sites you love, please give me some recommendations!
