Another fun Halloween is in the books! We only have a little candy left over, which I’ll take as a sign that the neighborhood kids were thoroughly satisfied. We got a little more into it this year than we did last year — we got costumes, the house and yard were well-decorated, and last night we actually had people over for a little party! Sadly I didn’t take nearly enough photos, but I did get what was probably the highlight of the night: Jason walking around as the Headless Horseman, complete with a giant pumpkin on his head.
Debbie dressed up as one of the Minions from Despicable Me, and her costume was pretty awesome. The glasses and frozen grin freaked us all out a little — and sent 3-year-old Lily scrambling for her mom.

Pumpkin-carving was a success in addition to Jason’s head. I did the bats, and Debbie did the cannibal pumpkin. (Notice the small pumpkin in his mouth.)
