It took 5 launches, but I finally got a photo of me working on console as ARD Support Officer. On my previous 4 launches, the photographer never came into our room, probably because it’s completely swarming with people on launch day. 5th time’s the charm?
How come everybody appears to be working except you? I think you are posing!

The girl in the back is legitimately working. The guy behind me is watching intently because he’s still in training. The girl next to me is just pretending to work. 😉 And me? Well I’m just blatantly not working.
People don’t seem to believe me when I say that spaceflight is actually quite boring when things are going well. And this launch went exceptionally well! 🙂
