Last night I turned my handwriting into a font. It was really easy (provided you have the software) and really fun. I’m very excited. I want to turn everyone’s handwriting into fonts now!
If you just adore my handwriting and want to use it yourself, you can! I made it available as a TrueType font that you can download.

Glad you found the HRTC forum. Would suggest posting your question there, you’ll get good responses. Be sure to include the words “first half ironman” and “relative newbie” in your question; they won’t bit.

I have to print in all caps, and even that is not legible, so they would more than likely ban me from having a font. I was looking at your race schedule. I live down in the Clear Lake area and my son 14 year old son is going to be doing the Seabrook 1/2 Marathon, he just hasn’t figured out yet if he wants to do Saturday or Sunday. Look for us out there, we’ll have on the “Faithful Soles” tshirts. I know the race organizers very well.

Starting in April we’re going to do Stridelines in Sarah.

I love your font. That is so cool. What software did you use? Is it freely available? I like your handwriting better than mine.
Me says
Karen, the software is called ScanFont and it’s not free. With an academic discount, it’s $99. Not too bad. The software you can use to design a font from scratch (like I’m doing for our other assignment) is called TypeTool and is only $49 with academic discount.
