So here’s the thing: babies in costumes are always cute. And when it’s your own baby? FREAKING ADORABLE.
I made Emma this Piglet costume, inspired by one I saw for sale on Etsy. Two pairs of pink tights, plus a homemade oneside, plus a homemade hat with ears and voila! It came together pretty easily and I think we can all agree this is the cutest Piglet you have ever seen.
(Edit: A long time later, I finally wrote a post with some rough instructions on how to make a Piglet costume for your own baby.)
But of course Emma had several Halloween outfits because, well, it was hard to resist the cuteness. These two pairs of pajamas came from Walmart. She may actually get more use out of them over the next month or two since she’s starting to move beyond the swaddle and can sleep in just PJs!
And of course we had to put her back in her “My First Halloween” onesie, complete with Halloween socks from Jen and a bow and hairstyling courtesy of Grandma R.
Apparently I only had a kid so that I could play dress-up again.
Hope everyone had a happy Halloween!

You never played dress-up as a kid, so now is your first time and it looks like you enjoy it! I really deprived you of a fun thing during your childhood, didn’t I????
