My sewing mojo — which had been MIA for a few weeks — returned over the weekend. I managed to make some good progress on my current work in progress (a baby quilt) while Jose took Emma to her gym class on Saturday morning, and again while they went to the grocery store on Sunday.
Both times, Charlotte was my sidekick and sewing assistant and both times, after some happy babbling, she fell asleep on the job. Slacker!
I’m using my own Triangles at Play pattern (which you can download for free!), which means part of the process involves a lot of trimming tiny bits off my half square triangles. This part is so tedious, but I know I’ll be glad I did it when I start joining all these HSTs together.
I finished all the trimming last night and started laying out my blocks. I’m hoping to have a completed quilt top by the end of the weekend!
