Full disclosure: I came up with this list before Charlotte arrived. So I’ll see how it goes!
Send baby announcements. I do want to send nice, printed birth announcements to our friends and family, and I’d like to get them out within a month. I managed it with Emma, so I think (hope?) this is doable.
Go on walks. I am putting no requirement on time or distance for it to “count”…I just want to take some walks with Charlotte when I feel like it. I didn’t/couldn’t really do this early on with Emma because it was so hot outside, but September is usually more bearable than August so it’s likely we’ll have some mornings or evenings that aren’t so bad.
Keep reading. I’ve made it through a large (for me) number of books already this year thanks to my goal of reading a little every day. I don’t know if every day will be possible in the thick of newborn haze — reading may very well just put me to sleep! — so this is a somewhat soft goal. But it does seem doable in theory if breastfeeding is going well as something to do while Charlotte eats.
Finish the September One Little Word prompt. None of the prompts so far have been a huge time commitment and I’d really like to stay on track if I can.
Annnnnd I think that is PLENTY for my first month as a mom of two!
