May goals coming next week. In the meantime, here’s how I did in April.
Figure out how to rearrange the living room/office/guest room/bonus room. So, after Monday’s post you may have deduced that there was more of a motive behind this goal than I let on when I first posted it…we need to rearrange several things in order to have another kid bedroom! And the good news is that we came up with a good plan of attack…and actually got started on it too. (I had planned to write more about it yesterday but time got away from me. Next week!)
Clean out the garage. I didn’t end up doing this, because Jose didn’t want his pregnant wife dealing with lawn chemicals, mouse poop, etc as she cleaned up the filthy garage. I guess I can’t argue with that, so a thorough cleanup with have to wait until Jose has time, or until this fall. C’est la vie.
Instead, I threw myself into house rearranging as mentioned above!
Monthly “make stuff” list. I did get my Once Upon a Time Sampler framed at last (yay!) and it’s destined for the new baby’s room when I get it back from the frame store. And I got a ton of quilting done over the last two weeks of April and am on schedule to meet all my deadlines (both self-imposed and real) so far.
Overall, April was a big success! It’s nice to know I can get some things done now that I’m in the second trimester happy zone and pregnancy isn’t sapping all my energy at the moment.

How many bedrooms do you have? Do you plan to have the girls room together eventually?

We’ve got 4 bedrooms — ours, Emma’s, a guest room, and a home office. Basically, the office is moving upstairs to our bonus room in order to free up the bedroom for the new baby.
I haven’t actually thought about having them share a room. I don’t think I’d want that until the new one is sleeping well through the night. Maybe we’ll let them decide as they get older.
