It’s hard to believe, but Emma’s third Halloween is already in the books. It was a fun day for the whole family, starting with a trick-or-treat parade at daycare in the morning. Toddlers in costumes are freaking adorable:
Emma and her buddy Keagan! (He was Peter Pan and his little sister was Tinkerbell. So cute.)
Forget chocolate, peanut butter, and all that jazz — Emma is a lollipop girl all. the. way. On Saturday afternoon after we’d given her one lollipop, I turned around 5 minutes later to find her sucking on…ANOTHER lollipop. She took it upon herself to unwrap another one from her candy carpet bag. Little sneak.
We carved our pumpkin after work. Adding ears was 100% Emma’s idea — “want ears!” — and I think they are awesome.
Finally, mini Mary Poppins got back in costume for her first time trick-or-treating! She had a great time going to several hours on our street — and had even more fun sitting at the end of our driveway passing out candy to all the other kids.
A happy Halloween indeed!

That is really the cutest costume. I love the parrot umbrella.
