Emma has been taking a few steps here and there since the weekend before her birthday. But it was always just one or two verrrrry tentative movements before squatting down and returning to the comfort of crawling…

Yep, I’m no longer being generous when I say she is walking! It is hilarious and adorable to watch her toddle around the house. She still prefers to crawl in general, but with encouragement she’ll walk across the whole room.
And while I’m sharing video, I might as well show off her fascination with the “step” off our patio into the yard. She went up and down and up and down several times on Thursday night while Jose was getting ready to grill our dinner.
