One of my June goals was to participate in 30 Days of Creativity for the second year in a row. Here’s my report for Week 4! (And here’s Week 1, Week 2 and Week 3.)
June 21-26 – We’ve spent this whole week in a condo near the beach in Port Aransas, so while there wasn’t any variation in what I could do on a daily basis, I did a bit of stitching every day during Emma’s naps or after she went to bed. Although I still have a long way to go, I made a TON of progress which you can see if you compare the photo from June 16 in last week’s post to the photo above from June 26. I estimate I’m about 80-85% done with the snowmen, but there is a whole huge swath of trees and snow to come below them, and a swath of color across the top of the stocking as well. So overall…I’m maybe 30-35% complete?
June 27 – I had planned on working on a few design projects while on vacation, but I really got in a groove with the cross stitch so I went with it. Still, yesterday I was finally in the mood for something else, so I spent a little time during Emma’s afternoon nap working on redesigning this blog, which was another of my June goals. (And hey, never fear, I did some stitching yesterday too!)
Only 3 days left in my month of creativity!
Your cross stitch looks awesome.
