Trick-or-Treating // With Emma this morning! Her class gets to ride the bus from the daycare over to the center of JSC and make stops at a couple of the buildings. I’m ridiculously excited for this. I’ve probably already mentioned this, but she’s dressing up as a ladybug. Pictures to come early next week!
The photo above is from yesterday at school. They made pumpkin muffins? Or maybe cupcakes? Anyway, they made something and the teachers posted a bunch of photos on our private class FB page. Have I mentioned how much I love our daycare?
Eating // Owl cookies!! It just isn’t Halloween without them.
Hoping // For less rain this weekend. It doesn’t sound like we’ll get away with no rain…but hopefully there’s at least a break in the wet weather tomorrow night! I’ve been looking forward to taking Emma to a few of the neighboring houses for trick-or-treating.
Voting // For my favorites in the Blogger’s Quilt Festival.
Mr. T White-Gloves at the Quilt Show by Judy Kreihn
Wanting // To make! all! the! quilts! after spending several hours at the Quilt Festival yesterday. I took Charlotte along and she was absolutely perfect — I was able to stay from 10:45 until almost 4:00! My friend Liz met me there for the first couple hours and it was fun to have someone to chat and hang out with. After she had to leave to get her kids, I wandered around for another 2 hours. I admired more quilts, bought a few things, and paused for a lot of people to “awwwww” at Charlotte in her stroller. Perhaps not surprisingly, she was quite popular at an event where the average attendee is a 60-something grandmother!
I’ll write up a full recap next week, but the Mr. T quilt above was definitely the funniest one I saw!
