OMG.
We had tickets for tonight’s game. But Jen’s parents are in town and she has a 4-week-old. Jason had a late sim at work. Jose is on his way to Corpus Christi for the weekend.
I had no one to go to the game with. So I sold our three tickets.
Three people sitting in our seats just saw Craig Biggio go 5-for-6 to not only hit #3000, but also 3001 and 3002. And then Carlos Lee won the game with a walk-off homer. But not just a homer. A walk-off grand slam.
And I sold our tickets.
I can’t believe I missed this game.

I missed Nolan Ryan’s fifth no-hitter in the Astrodome. But … I have one of the four tickets (the season ticket) autographed by Nolan Ryan as a consolation.
My Dad and my grandfather have two of them and my Dad traded the fourth one to get signed tickets from a couple other of Ryan’s milestone games.
I’ll gladly autograph T-shirts from the 300th race that I run … 😉

next time I guess you should go it alone…

Doh! Jen and I figured you were at the game, but I don’t think Jen knows the Astros won. Jen had a decent time when she went by herself, the other ticket holders near you guys are pretty nice.

That’s definitely a “Doh!” moment. 🙂
